Merci à tous ceux qui ont pris part au débat anglais / pas anglais / français oui mais pourquoi et en plus pour qui :-)
Je crois que Marie-Georges ne serait pas contre, elle non plus, un petit encart en français (si si, je le lis dans son regard). Donc à partir de maintenant, je posterai un mot dans la langue de Zola, et sa traduction dans la langue de Shakespeare.
En ce qui concerne la photo, il s'agit d'une des nombreuses affiches que l'on devrait voir fleurir (et fâner immédiatement pour d'autres) sur les murs d'ici mai...

Thanks to the people who took part to yesterday's English/French-and-who -should-English-address- and-what-about-French debate :-)
I think the woman on the picture (1st secretary of French Communist Party Marie-Georges Buffet) wouldn't mind a section in French - I can see it in her eyes and in her deepest thoughts "come on do it! write it in French!". So here I go: from now on I'll write a little something in both French and English.
As for the picture, it is one of the many political publicity posters that we are to see and will more and more be to see in French streets until May...

i have to say that i like taking this kind of shot myself - my wife always wonder why i do so, but i do like these little time capsules of a wall's life!
Stick to the basics, its your blog and you don't have to please anyone!
I have to admit that it would be nice to read the post in English (as i don't know French), but i am perfectly alright get the content translated to English using one of the many sites which do it for free.

Marie-George Buffet, la plus inconsistante, la plus livide des candidats à la Présidence. Le courant le plus has-been, le plus daté, définitivement vidé de toute substance depuis la compromission des communistes (déjà, ce nom entaché d'horreurs de l'Histoire) avec le parti socialiste, c'est-à-dire le centre.

Nice one! I must admit that the translation into english is very important for all of us who can't read french. I think no one would be interested in my own blog if it was in danish (except the danes, of course!).
