Cette voiture brulait quand nous sommes passés devant en bus. Juste le temps d'en descendre et de prendre quelques clichés. Le panneau sur le parre-brise disait 'Best buy'... J'en doute.

Enfin arrivé. A Chicago depuis 3 jours. Voici une photo des buildings de Chicago. Pas terrible, mais ça reflète bien ce que j'ai vu. J'essaierai d'en faire de meilleurs dans les prochains jours. Merci à tous pour vos 'bon voyage' :-)

La prochaine photo que vous verez sur ce blog sera postée des Etats-Unis. Et oui dans 3 jours, je serai à Chicago avant d'aller à Iowa City où je vais enseigner en tant qu'assistant de français. Un long voyage de 9 mois en quelque sorte, et quelques photos en prévision...

Cette photo a été prise à Poitiers, en face de la préfecture. Le type semblait sorti tout droit du milieu du siècle dernier. De face aussi, il semblait d'un autre âge.
Dans 5 jours, je m'envole pour les Etats-Unis... pour 9 mois. Vous devriez voir pas mal de photos des USA durant cette période :-D

This one was taken in Poitiers. The guy looked as though he had been walking down the streets over half a century ago. His face seemed from another time too.

Pris à Paris. A Montmartre plus précisément. On aurait dit un businessman ayant perdu une forte somme d'argent dans la vente de valeurs dévaluées, sur le point de sauter dans le vide. Très positif hein ? :-) (j'ai de nouveau le wifi !)

Seen in Paris. Montmartre. This man looked like a businessman ruined after selling a few devalued shares. On the verge of throwing himself off a building. Can hear you say "how optimistic!" :-) - got the wifi back!

Voici une photo que j'ai exhumée de mes archives. Il s'agit d'une cathédrale réalisée entièrement à base de cartons exposée à la soufflerie, à Poitiers courant mars 2007.

Here's a picture I found in an old archive file. It is a cathedral (let's say a church) all made out of cardboard boxes, shown at the Soufflerie in Poitiers, in March 2007.
Thanks for your comments. I will take the time to answer when I have time and a decent internet connexion. I am sitting on the ground in the yard of the law school. It's not that comfortable but that's the only way I can go on the net for free when the local library is closed :-)

Merci à tous pour vos réponses à la photo précédente. "Gouttes de sang sur glace pilée" était pas mal. "Massacre de nounours en gelée goût ananas" était bien tenté... A vous tous, vous avez finallement (presque) la réponse. La petite touche de couleur était bien de l'encre rouge. La substance étrange était une espèce de gelée qui sert à garder la tige des fleurs humides. Le récipient était un pot de confiture :-)
Cette photo de François Hadji-Lazaro a été prise lors du festival 'Paroles timbrées', à Voulon, dimanche dernier. Un artiste qui donne la patate !

Thanks for trying so hard on finding what the previous picture represented. The red part was red ink. The intriguing element surrounding it was jelly that is used to keep flowers fresh. The recepient was a jam pot :-)
Today's picture is François Hadji-Lazaro was shot at the festival 'Paroles timbrées' in Voulon (Fra). A great concert and a smile on everyone's face :-)
Je rencontre en ce moment des problèmes de connexion internet. Il est possible que je ne sois pas aussi présent dans les prochains jours :-(
